Why?

What I love about home...

So, we are taking them with us and moving just shy of 1.2 miles from this house to a different one.

This new to us house is older than our current one.

Slightly, a little bit bigger,  Has more trees which means more leaves, and is in a different school district.

So, why would one move a little more than a mile from their current home.

For Family.

14 cousins.

11 of which all live in the new school district.

Though we love CWES and Erin has a super cala fragalistic expialidocious teacher, we want our kids to go to school with their cousins.

We are hopeful that Erin can finish 1st grade at CWES and that Erin and Eoin will start at the new school, together, in the fall.

Erin is most excited about walking to school.

What a fabulous resource we have for Bridgie as she navigates the world of public school.

Selfishly, I am looking forward to having extra sets of eyes in case of difficulty or trouble in school.

Yes, we love the new house .

Jerry has taught the kids to chant:
"Basement, Basement, Basement".

Preparing them for where they will spent most of their time.
(just kidding or maybe not)

But mostly we are looking forward to being together
in our home.

  2. All of our family and cousins live out of state, such a great opportunity to live close! I know what you mean about having all the kids in the same district. Beth went to the same school as her sisters only one year. The rest of the time she was bussed to the school with the special ed teachers. I hope the move goes smoothly for you!
